MentoraJo Terms of Use
MentoraJo Terms of Use last updated February 28, 2026.
Please review these Terms carefully as they serve as an enforceable contract between us and contain important information about your legal rights, remedies, and obligations.
1. Account Terms
Account Responsibility and Security
An account is required to access most of the Platform's activities. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account.
You must not share the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered email address with anyone. Any activity performed using your account is considered your responsibility.
If you experience any issues or suspect unauthorized access to your account, you must notify us immediately by contacting our Support Team.
Account Usage
Creating an account allows you to:
• Purchase courses
• Access platform content
• Submit content for publication
All information provided during account registration and updates must be accurate, complete, and up to date, including your email address.
You are fully responsible for all actions taken through your account, including any harm or damage caused to the platform, yourself, or others as a result of unauthorized use.
Account Sharing and Access
You may not transfer, share, or allow others to use your account, nor may you use another person's account.
If you contact us requesting access to an account, we will only grant access after you provide sufficient information and evidence to verify that you are the rightful account owner.
MentoraJo will not intervene in disputes between students or mentors arising from shared login credentials.
Security Incidents
You must notify us immediately if:
• Someone else is using your account without permission
• You suspect any security breach or incident
We may request additional information to verify your identity and secure your account.
Age Requirements
To create an account and use Mentora's services, both students and mentors must be at least 18 years old.
Users under 18 may only use the platform with parental or legal guardian consent and assistance.
Account Termination
Any violation of the rules outlined above may result in account suspension or termination.
Users who tries to create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions, bans, or any other thing such as promotional limits will also result in account suspension or termination.
For mentors, identity verification and participation in one or more onboarding meetings are required before uploading any content to the platform.
Account Closure
You may close your account at any time. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how your data will be handled after account closure.
Deceased Users
In the event of a user's death, please notify us, and we will proceed with closing the account as soon as reasonably possible.
2. Content Enrollment and Accessing
License to Access Content
When you enroll in a course or access any other content on Mentora, you are granted a limited license to access and view that content solely through Mentora's Services. No other use is permitted.
Content on Mentora is licensed, not sold or rented.
Scope of the License
Mentora grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to access and view the content for which you have paid all applicable fees (or enrolled in for free), strictly for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes, and only in accordance with these Terms and any content-specific restrictions.
Prohibited Uses
Unless explicitly authorized in writing by Mentora, you may not:
• Copy, record, capture, reproduce, download, distribute, or transmit any content
• Resell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit any content
• Share content with any third party or allow others to access it through your account
• Share account credentials with purchasers or third parties
• Upload or distribute content to torrent sites or similar platforms
• Modify, adapt, edit, or create derivative works from the content
Any unauthorized use constitutes a violation of these Terms.
Role of Mentora and Mentors
Under the Mentor Terms, Mentors grant Mentora a license to offer their content to students. Accordingly:
• Mentora is the licensor of record for all content
• Students receive licenses only from Mentora, not directly from mentors
• Mentors may not grant licenses to students independently; any such attempt is null and void and a violation of these Terms
Duration of Access
Unless otherwise stated, access to course content is generally provided until the end of each university semester.
If a course becomes outdated:
• It may be disabled and labeled as outdated
• Students will be notified
Disabling a course for curriculum updates does not entitle students to a refund.
Revocation of Access
Mentora reserves the right to revoke or disable access to any content at any time, without refund, if required for legal, policy, or compliance reasons, including but not limited to:
• Copyright or Intellectual Property complaints
• Violations of Trust & Safety Guidelines
• Legal or regulatory obligations
Mentor Interaction and Additional Services
"Term access" applies only to course content, not to mentor involvement. Mentors may, at their discretion:
• Discontinue teaching assistance
• Stop providing Q&A, mentoring, or coaching services
This license does not apply to:
• Coaching services
• Add-on features or services
Each of these may be governed by separate terms.
3. Payments, Credits, and Refunds
Pricing
Prices for services on Mentora are determined in accordance with Mentor Terms, platform policies, and applicable promotions.
Promotions and discounts may be offered from time to time for a limited duration. The price applicable to a service is the price displayed at the time of purchase, inclusive of any applicable taxes and governmental charges, which will be clearly shown during checkout.
Prices may vary based on:
• University
• Faculty or academic department within the same university
• User eligibility (e.g., new users vs. existing users)
Some promotions may be available only to new users or registered students.
All prices are currently displayed in Jordanian Dinars (JOD).
Where applicable, Mentora is responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax, value-added tax (VAT), or goods and services tax (GST) to the relevant tax authorities. Depending on your location, taxes may be included in the displayed price and will be itemized at checkout.
Payments
By making a purchase, you agree to pay all applicable fees and authorize Mentora's third-party payment service providers to charge your selected payment method, including debit cards, credit cards, mobile wallets, or other supported payment methods.
Mentora does not store, process, or retain users' payment card or banking information. All payment transactions are handled securely by third-party payment providers in accordance with their own security standards and privacy policies.
If you are making a payment using a bank or payment method located outside Jordan (including but not limited to Saudi Arabia, the United States, or other international banks), additional fees may apply, such as:
• Currency conversion fees
• Foreign transaction fees
• Bank or intermediary charges
These fees are determined and charged solely by your bank or payment provider and are not controlled by or refundable by Mentora.
You agree not to use invalid or unauthorized payment methods. If your payment fails but access to a service is granted, you agree to pay the outstanding amount within 14 days of notification. Mentora reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to any service for which payment has not been successfully received.
Refunds
You may request a refund if:
• The purchase was made within 14 days, and
• You have completed no more than 20% of the course content
Refunds may be issued either:
• To the original payment method, or
• As refund credits to your Mentora account
The refund method is determined at Mentora's discretion, based on payment provider capabilities, purchase platform, and other operational factors.
If a refund is issued to the original payment method, processing times may vary depending on the payment service provider, bank, or financial institution. Any delays caused by these third parties are outside Mentora's control, and Mentora is not responsible for such delays once the refund has been successfully initiated.
Refunds will not be granted if:
• The request is made after the 14-day period, or
• More than 20% of the course content has been completed, or
• Temporary service interruptions, maintenance, or technical issues occurred
• Purchasing the course 14 days before semester ending or less
However, refunds may be issued beyond the 14-day limit if:
• The content is disabled due to legal or policy reasons
• Fraud or unauthorized account activity is suspected or confirmed
All refund decisions are made solely by Mentora's Support Team. Mentors have no authority over refund approvals.
To request a refund, please follow the instructions on the Refund Page.

Refund Credits
If refund credits are issued:
• They are automatically applied to your next eligible purchase on the Mentora website
• They may expire if not used within the specified period
• They are non-refundable and have no cash value, unless required by applicable law
If multiple credits are available, Mentora will apply the credit that expires first by default. You may choose a different credit if available.
Abuse of Refund Policy
Mentora reserves the right to deny refunds or restrict future refund eligibility if we reasonably believe the refund policy is being abused, including but not limited to:
• Excessive content consumption before requesting a refund
• Repeated refund requests for the same or similar content
In such cases, we may:
• Deny the refund
• Restrict future refunds
• Suspend or terminate the account
• Restrict access to the Services
If your account is suspended or terminated due to violations of these Terms or the Trust & Safety Guidelines, you will not be eligible for a refund.

• Direct access to specific services, courses, or subjects
These codes are subject to their stated terms and conditions.
Gift and promotional credits:
• Cannot be redeemed for cash

Codes provided by third-party partners may be subject to the partner's own refund and usage policies.
