MentoraJo is an edtech platform connecting mentors and students through courses and video lessons, built for learners in both Arabic and English. We're a small, fast-moving team building a modern multi-app product, and we're looking for a Frontend Developer Intern to build real features that reach real students. You won't be fetching coffee — you'll be shipping UI alongside the engineers who mentor you. - Help build and maintain user-facing features across our web apps using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with designers and backend developers to turn designs into responsive, bilingual (English/Arabic, RTL) interfaces.
- Build reusable UI components and connect them to backend data.
- Fix bugs and improve the look, feel, and usability of existing screens.
- Take part in code reviews and learn our team's conventions and workflows.
المتطلبات
- Currently pursuing — or recently completed — a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or self-taught with projects to show).
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Some exposure to React through coursework, personal projects, or a previous internship.
- Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Knowledge of using AI coding agents — GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or ChatGPT — to speed up coding, debugging, and learning. We value interns who use AI well and still understand and own the code they ship.
- Experience with responsive design — building for both desktop and mobile.
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and work as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in both Arabic and English.

- Familiarity with Next.js (App Router), Tailwind CSS, or React Query / Redux Toolkit.
- Experience with internationalization (i18n) or right-to-left (RTL) layouts.
- Exposure to monorepo tooling (Turborepo, npm/pnpm workspaces).
- Comfort building accessible UI (semantic HTML, keyboard nav, ARIA).
- Any experience with video/streaming players or media-heavy UIs.
- Reading from a REST API and handling loading/error states cleanly.
- Familiarity with agentic AI workflows or MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Reading or writing in a design tool like Figma to translate designs to code.
- A GitHub profile, side projects, or open-source contributions we can look at.
- Interest in edtech and building products that help people learn.
